The summer camps of the Network

Every year, the Institutes of the Network propose initiatives and school camps to their students, to strengthen the bond with teachers and collaborators and to create opportunities for sharing among peers. The proposals from the Schools are divided according to the student’s class, in order to provide appropriate opportunities for the educational and life journey they are experiencing. 

The Leone XIII Institute in Milan offers numerous opportunities, from proposals for kindergarten to international study campuses for high school students. You can consult all the summer camps on their website https://www.leonexiii.it/apertura-al-mondo/e-state-con-il-leone/. 

The Leone XIII Institute and the Istituto Sociale of Turin propose in collaboration the summer camp ‘E tutti sotto lo stesso cielo’ in Caorle, from June 16th to 22nd. The proposal is dedicated to students from both schools attending the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades of primary school. Registration requests can already be sent via email to Prof. Paolo Biscardini. 

The Istituto Sociale then proposes the ‘Colibrì Summer Edition 2024 Music’: from July 1st to 26th, the school’s classrooms will be filled with games, sports, fun, and rhythm! The theme of this edition is indeed music, and students will be able to create ecological musical instruments with recycled materials and discover and learn traditional dances from around the world. The camp is dedicated to those born in the years 2018, 2019, 2020, and to little ones born in 2021 who have already attended kindergarten, both from the Social Institute and external ones. 

The Sociale Sport, the Sports Center of the Social Institute of Turin, instead proposes ‘Summer Sport City Camp’, the summer camp dedicated to fun and sports held from June 10th to September 13th: registrations are already open. 

Among the various initiatives aimed at students from all the institutes of the network, we highlight these opportunities, which are becoming true traditions: 
– the camp in Gressoney, for all years of high school, from July 1st to 12th. Registrations can be sent via email to Prof. Paolo Biscardini; 
– the service camp in Scampia, for all years of high school, from June 29th to July 6th. Registrations can be sent via email to Father Alessandro Viano SJ or Father Eraldo Cacchione SJ; 
– mini-courses for students from the second to the fifth year of high school in Selva di Val Gardena, at Villa Capriolo; 
– service camps of the Student Missionary League in Sighet, Romania, which can be joined by sending an email to Father Massimo Nevola SJ. Only for young teachers and students over 18, the service camp of the Student Missionary League can be carried out in Peru by sending an email to Father Alessandro Viano SJ.
