Scholarship in Memory of Carlo and Piergiorgio: Awarding to the Beneficiaries
The right to education is not an abstract principle, but a concrete responsibility that involves the entire educational community. With this spirit, Fondazione Gesuiti Educazione has awarded three scholarships to deserving students, enabling them to continue their educational journey within schools of the Ignatian network, overcoming economic difficulties that might otherwise have limited their access.
The call for applications was issued in honor of Saint Carlo Acutis and Saint Piergiorgio Frassati, former students of our school network, recently canonized by Pope Leo XIV during the Jubilee. Their witness continues to inspire our educational commitment in service of younger generations.
The scholarships have been awarded to three students who will attend ISP Middle School Gonzaga, ISP Diploma Gonzaga, and the Classical High School of Istituto Massimo. This support fully covers the cost of school tuition and represents a clear educational choice: removing obstacles that prevent young people from fully expressing their potential.
Through this initiative, the Foundation renews its commitment to promoting an education grounded in equity, merit, and the centrality of the person. Access to a high-quality educational pathway thus becomes a concrete instrument for human and cultural growth, in line with the values of Ignatian pedagogy, which has always placed strong emphasis on the integral development of the student.
Supporting the right to education means investing in the future, fostering a more just, inclusive, and conscious society. The scholarships awarded testify to the determination of Fondazione Gesuiti Educazione to be an active part of this journey, accompanying young people and their families in building educational opportunities founded on responsibility, competence, and solidarity.
