{"id":7263,"date":"2025-04-09T13:47:58","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T12:47:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gesuitieducazione.it\/?p=7263"},"modified":"2025-04-09T13:47:59","modified_gmt":"2025-04-09T12:47:59","slug":"gonzaga-city-day-is-back-activities-and-workshops-for-the-whole-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gesuitieducazione.it\/en\/gonzaga-city-day-is-back-activities-and-workshops-for-the-whole-city\/","title":{"rendered":"Gonzaga City Day is back \u2013 activities and workshops for the whole city!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>On Saturday, April 12th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, children, teenagers, and families will be at the heart of <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gonzagacampus.it\/gonzagacityday2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Gonzaga CITY Day<\/strong><\/a><strong>, an initiative by the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gonzagacampus.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Gonzaga Campus<\/strong><\/a><strong> offering free workshops and activities open to the entire city. <\/strong>The goal is to give young children, teens, and families opportunities to explore creativity, sports, fun, and inclusive intergenerational play.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The planned activities will take place in the large green spaces of the Campus. There will be 50 different options to choose from, organized into <strong>8 thematic areas<\/strong> that reflect Gonzaga\u2019s educational approach:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sport &amp; Health\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ecology &amp; Environment\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Digital &amp; Technologies\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Art &amp; Creativity\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Global Citizenship &amp; Multilingualism\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Spirituality &amp; Life Choices\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Social &amp; Political Engagement\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Culture &amp; Communication\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For each of these thematic areas, workshops will be offered in <strong>both Italian and English<\/strong>, tailored to four different age groups: 3\u20134 years, 5\u20138 years, 9\u201312 years, and 13\u201318 years. Many of the workshops will also be open to adults, designed as parent-child experiences. After completing a workshop session, participants will be free to choose and join another activity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>It has now become a wonderful tradition to open Gonzaga to the city on a Saturday in April or May,<\/em>\u201d says <strong>Fr. Vitangelo Denora<\/strong>, General Director of the Campus. \u201c<em>This gesture expresses the school\u2019s relationship with the city\u2019s challenges through a <\/em><strong><em>spirit of openness and service<\/em><\/strong><em>. Education is about our future \u2014 the <\/em><strong><em>future of Palermo<\/em><\/strong><em> and the <\/em><strong><em>future of our world<\/em><\/strong><em>.
