The new Board of Directors of the Jesuit Education Foundation appointed and had its first meeting in Rome on September 27th. The Provincial Superior, Fr. Roberto Del Riccio SJ attended the first part of the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father Jimmy Bartolo SJ was confirmed as Chairman of the Board of Directors for a new mandate, while Father Angelo Schettini SJ was confirmed as Vice-Chairman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the advisors, are confirmed Father Eraldo Cacchione SJ, Silvia Costa, Berardino Guarino, Claudio Rossi, Josephine Vassallo and Nevila Zeneli. Newly appointed Paola Muller, for many years president of the parents’ association of Leone XIII in Milan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As usual, the first meeting of the new board is preceded by a visit and a moment of prayer in the “little rooms of St. Ignatius” at the Ges\u00f9 in Rome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Provincial Superior Fr. Roberto Del Riccio SJ listened to the presentation of the projects and the work done by the Foundation in recent years, as well as the prospective lines of the network for the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Board also approved the report of the working group on the reform of the “third sector – nonprofit”, thus opening the way to a possible new legal structure of the Foundation itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
