Sport and nutrition: tips and tastes at Leone XIII

‘Mens sana in corpore sano. Sport and nutrition: a meeting… with a taste!‘ is the title of the event organized by the Jesuit Education Foundation and Pellegrini SPA in collaboration with the Leone XIII Institute, the SSD Leone XIII, and the Centro Schuster.
Parents of children and teenagers between 6 and 14 years of age will have a… tasty opportunity! Giorgio Donegani, Food Technologist expert in Nutrition and Food education, will lead the evening on Wednesday, November 22nd, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the Leone XIII Institute’s dining hall. The discussion will focus on the importance of a balance between healthy nutrition, sports, growth through the acquisition of the basic nutritional principles using healthy and tasty foods. Parents can satisfy their curiosity, seek advice, and taste some dishes specially prepared by the Pellegrini catering company. What better way to learn than through practice?
Physical activity, a proper dietary lifestyle, and healthy competitiveness have always been important values of Jesuit education, which is committed to spreading them through its Institutes and Sports Centers. That’s why the Foundation was particularly enthusiastic about the official recognition of the educational and social value of sports within the Italian Constitution on September, 28th 2023.
Participation in the Leone XIII event is free, upon registration, and is limited to a maximum of 100 guests.
